Is your life an active site where God is worshiped? Many times people try to go through life, living on a past experience.
Matthew 4:23 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.
While visiting the ruins of a synagogue of what was most likely one of the towns visited by Jesus, I noticed how empty and dry this place felt. I have felt this way in my spirit before. It is a miserable place to be! You can feel like you are just going through the motions of being a Christian without actually acting or feeling like a real Christian. The answer to this spiritually dry sensation is to go to God open and honest with an attitude of giving Him the worship He deserves. Don’t seek Him just for a solution to your current problems. Worship Him for who He is and He has a way of working things out for you.
Jesus Calls

There is a story described in Matthew 4:18-22 where Jesus calls adult fishermen to quit their jobs and leave everything they know behind, to follow Him.
It reads:
As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” At once they left their nets and followed him.
Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John. They were in a boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them, and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.
Many times we work hard to give teenagers an opportunity to answers God’s call on their life but God also calls adults. He may be calling you!
